This BF51 Flange System, allows the GIVI Tanklock Bags to hover over your tank, so this protects the finish. The BF Flange eliminates straps or magnetic attachments previously used to fasten tank bags to a motorcycle.

Because the Fitting Kits are bike specific, make/model/year, this results in a high quality product.
Fitting
A small outer ring, is installed around the fuel cap, so that it is incorporated with the unique structure at the base of the Tankbag. Press lightly until you hear a positive “click” after simply lining the bag up to the tanklock ring. To release, pull the red lever located in the base of the tanklock bag.
The tanklock flange varies by the fuel cap type – see the video icon below
